A wrinkled neck or a double chin, the loss of contour between the face and neck is perceived by women and men as not aesthetically pleasing.
A neck lift or a neck lift, which is often done in combination with a facelift, is then usually a good solution to bring vitality back to the face and neck.

The risks of a neck lift

Experts see neck lift as a low-complication and very safe operation when performed by a qualified aesthetic plastic surgeon. However, as with any surgical procedure, bruising or swelling may occur, usually healing itself. If the fine skin nerves are severed during the procedure, the skin in the operated area may be numb for a while. This sensory disturbance also disappears on its own within a few weeks.
In some cases secondary bleeding and swelling of the bruise area must be treated immediately. However, such complications are extremely rare. In rare cases the wound becomes infected but they generally heal after appropriate therapy, possibly with antibiotics. Finally, wound healing disorders can also occur. They are also very rare and develop only when certain circumstances, such as heavy smoking, diabetes or a blood clotting disorder, interfere with the healing process. The risk of facial nerve injury is very small for qualified surgeons.
