Children with ears that do not fit the normal pattern very often suffer from hurtful teasing especially from other children. An ear correction is the treatment of protruding ears in children or the reduction of very large ears. In most cases, very good long-term results can be achieved. Since a clearly visible problem is resolved and this is also immediately recognised by others a significant positive feeling is experienced.

The possibilities and limitations of an ear correction

Usually, the ear correction leads to very pleasing results. The shape and size of the ear can be significantly and gradually improved.

Before each operation there is a comprehensive consultation by the attending physician. It can be very helpful for you to write down a few questions beforehand. Do not hesitate to ask anything you are interested in and, if necessary, check back by phone at a later date or at another meeting.

Occasionally it can also lead to wound healing disorders in the ears, which are discussed in detail before the operation.
